A MAGNIFICENT DUO - Honey & CinnamonIn ancient medicine honey was used for centuries. Modern scientists admit honey as a very effective treatment for many types of diseases without any complications. Even though honey is sweet, in certain dosage as a medicine, it does not harm even diabetics.
Honey and cinnamon can be found in every kitchen, especially during winter time, though not many know that they posses wonderful properties and are good not just as additive to your tea or cake!
Every morning, 30 minutes before breakfast on an empty stomach, and every night, before going to bed, drink honey and cinnamon powder mixture in pre-boiled water. If taken regularly it decreases the weight of even a very heavy person, as well as does not allow the fat to accumulate.
Preparation (before going to bed):
- Ratio 1:2. For ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder take 1 teaspoon of honey. Can be used more or less, as long as keep the proportion.
- Boil one cup of water.
- Pour over the cinnamon and cover, leave to steep.
- Add honey when COOLED. High temperature destroys all enzymes and other beneficial properties of honey!
- Drink one half right before bed. The other half, covered, leave in the fridge.
- Drink the other half in the morning before breakfast. Do not heat it.
For breakfast eat bread with honey paste and cinnamon powder. It lowers the level of cholesterol in blood. Regular honey with cinnamon in your diet improves breathing and strengthens the heart.
Studies have shown that sugars content in honey is useful rather than harmful to maintaining vitality. Elder people, that use honey and cinnamon in equal proportions, experience improvement in concentration, attention and mobility.
People suffering from arthritis can take one cup of warm boiled water with 2 spoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. The studies conducted by the Copenhagen University have shown that almost half of patients with arthritis who took this “drink” during one month, had decrease in pain.
2 table spoons of honey and 3 tea spoons of cinnamon powder mixed together in 2 cups of warm boiled water decrease the level of cholesterol in the blood within 2 hours. People who take pure honey with their meals daily do not show any increase in cholesterol.
Daily intake of honey and cinnamon strengthens the protective functions of the body and protects against bacteria and viruses. Honey contains a variety of vitamins and iron. Its regular intake enhances the ability of white blood cells to fight bacterial and virus diseases.
2 tablespoons of cinnamon powder and 1 teaspoon of honey, mixed in a cup of warm boiled water kills germs in the bladder.
Cinnamon powder sprinkled over 2 table spoons of honey taken before meals, reduces the acidity and helps to digest heavy food.

According to the studies conducted in India and Japan, it has been proved that honey with cinnamon reduces the bloating of the stomach, relieves stomach- and tooth-aches; helps to fight hair loss; combats skin infections and insect bites, as well as cold, flu, and even cancer (research in Japan and Australia has found that stomach and bones cancer can be prevented by in taking the mixture of honey and cinnamon every day for three months).

*Honey should be NATURAL RAW NON-PASTEURISED. If the lable says PURE - most likely it is pasteurised. Better purchase the one with the label saying RAW or NON-PASTEURISED. Pateurisation neutralises all the honey's enzymes.
